Ms. Thompson's First Graders had fun in math graphing and adding with Lucky Charms Marshmallows!
The entire elementary school has been focusing on kindness for the month of February. The 5k-2nd graders have been working really hard to show kindness in the cafeteria and have had a chance to earn pink buffalo slips which get put in a drawing to sit at the fun tables in the back.
Congrats to the winners from the last two weeks! We appreciate the kindness that you have shown to others!
Midwest Dental was busy! We had a visit in first grade also!

Mrs. Kitchner's PM 4K class has sure enjoyed having Keira (a high school service learning student) join their class this trimester. Keira did a wonderful job assisting and playing with students, and helping Mrs. Kitchner with daily classroom needs. Thank you, Keira! You will be missed! ❤️🐝
Mrs. Kitchner's PM 4K class taste tested lemons and limes also. They voted for the lemon to be the tastiest, although they thought both were WAY too sour! 😝🍋🍋🟩

Mrs. Kitchner's AM 4K class welcomed some special visitors today for "Muffins with Moms"! They enjoyed yummy muffins together, read books, and played BINGO! It was a great day! 🐝🧁
The elementary school has spent the last few months focusing on GRATITUDE and GROWTH MINDSET. Friday we had an assembly to recognize the student in each grade who best modeled those traits. We also recognized some staff members who do an amazing job with these traits as well. Congratulations to the winners. 🥳
First grade students were excited to have the opportunity to experiment with coding robot cars. This engaging STEM lesson connects with our ELA unit about robots at work.

Today Ms. King's class had a pizza party! One of her students, Emmalyn, entered a contest at Fazoli's and she won! Fazoli's brought pizza and bread sticks for them to celebrate. Thank you Emmalyn for entering the contest, and thank you Fazoli's for delivering and providing the yummy lunch!

We are excited to again put the musical talents of our 5K-5th grade students on display at the 2024 Elementary Holiday Music Concert! Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 17, to join in the holiday cheer. We will host two performances on that day, a matinee show beginning at 1:45PM and an evening show beginning at 6:30PM.
