General Announcements:

Safe Driving Fact of the Day: Only 44% of teens said they would definitely speak up if someone were driving in a way that scared them.

Thank you to all of the students that participated in the clean-up efforts yesterday!  It was a tough decision and ended up a tie.  Both juniors & sophomores will receive 4 points.  Sophomores are now in the lead (8 points), juniors are in 2nd (7 points), freshman are third (2 pts) and the seniors are in last (1 point).  Be sure to bring in food for the food drive to bring up your point total.  You have until Friday!

TODAY’s Radiate Kindness Task is to happily participate even if you really don't want to.  This applies at home, school, work, anywhere!

If you are signed up to read to elementary students on Thursday, please report to Mrs. Hass' room after announcements TODAY to find out whose class you are going to and when.

Seniors: If you have earned scholarships from outside the school district (colleges, parents’ work, non-school groups and agencies, etc.) and would like them included in the Senior Awards ceremony, please let Mr. Hass know about them by Friday.  Do not assume the school district was made aware of them.

Juniors: If you are interested in retaking the ACT exam on June 10th, the registration deadline is Friday.  Check your email for further information.

Muddy Truck/Drive Your Tractor to School Day: The FFA will be hosting the Muddy Truck contest & Drive Your Tractor to School Day Thursday, May 11th.  All participants will be required to fill out a permission slip and will have to leave their tractor in the parking lot at lunch. The permission slip is due to Ms. White May 10th. The FFA will be providing lunch for all participants. There will also be a prize for the muddiest truck and a random prize drawing for tractor drivers.

Ag Olympics: The FFA will be hosting the Ag Olympics behind the Ag shop on Thursday, May 11th during Buffalo Time. Only FFA members are allowed to come and participate.
