Buffalo Time Meetings: (Remember to have attendance taken in your homeroom before reporting to meetings)

Monday, May 8th: Student council meeting in Mrs. Hass’ room.

Tuesday, May 9th: Mandatory meeting in the Multi Lobby regarding lifeguard training.  If a lifeguard is unable to attend, they need to email Mr. Nelson at tnelson@mondovi.k12.wi.us.

Wednesday, May 10th: Informational meeting/sign-up in the Band Room for all girls who wish to participate on the Women’s Fall Golf Team.  NO GOLF EXPERIENCE NEEDED! If you can't attend, the sign-up sheet is on the golf board outside of the band room. If you have questions, contact Coach Walk.

Thursday, May 11th: KISS a Senior Goodbye committee meeting in Mrs. Hass’ room.

Monday, May 15th: Girls’ basketball meeting in the IMC for girls planning to play basketball next year.

Tuesday, May 16th: Kiss a Senior Goodbye committee meeting in Mrs. Hass’ room.

General Announcements:                                   

Radiate Kindness Results:  Sophomores & Juniors tied for 1st place (11 points), Freshmen took 2nd place (4 points) and Seniors were in last place (1 point).  Sophomores and Juniors that participated in garbage collection, chalk drawing and donated food are welcome to come to Mrs. Hass' room Monday, May 15th during Buffalo Time for a cookie party (a list of students will be sent out).

Muddy Truck/Drive Your Tractor to School Day: The FFA will be hosting the Muddy Truck contest & Drive Your Tractor to School Day Thursday.  All participants will be required to fill out a permission slip and will have to leave their tractor in the parking lot at lunch. The permission slip is due to Ms. White Wednesday.  The FFA will be providing lunch for all participants.  There will also be a prize for the muddiest truck and a random prize drawing for tractor drivers.

Ag Olympics: The FFA will be hosting the Ag Olympics behind the Ag shop Thursday during Buffalo Time. Only FFA members are allowed to come and participate.

Yearbook Distribution: Thursday during Buffalo Time in the Buffalo Lobby.  Those that did not get a yearbook but would like to buy one can see Mr. Poeschel starting May15th.  The cost is $60.00.

Juniors (Freshwater Science Field Experience for High School): Thanks to the Wisconsin Freshwater Collaborative, faculty from four UW campuses have come together to offer an intensive and hands-on one-week experience for current high school juniors (rising seniors) from June 12-17th, 2023.  Students will spend the majority of every day outside - collecting samples, learning how scientists design experiments and collect data, and enjoying nature. All in-workshop transportation, lodging, and meals plus a stipend are paid for by the Freshwater Collaborative of Wisconsin.  There is an optional overnight trip to Door County, also included, and students can choose to earn 2 college credits for their participation.  Deadline for applications is Monday, May 15th.  Ask Mrs. Jardine for more information.
