General Announcements:
WHAT A DAY! It was a great day for the Mondovi Track and Field team at their home invite! We had so many athletes run/jump/throw/vault their season and lifetime bests last night! A couple of top performances came from Courtney Stadter and Jarod Falkner! Courtney broke the facility record and the school record in the 1600m run! The school record was a 41-year-old record set back in 1982 by Carla Haigh at 5:15.95. Courtney broke it running all by herself out front with a time of 5:10.98! Way to go, Courtney! Jarod broke the school record in the pole vault in a vault-off at the very end of the meet! He broke a record set in 2019 by Colten Bee at 12 feet, 9 inches. Jarod vaulted 12 feet, 10 inches on his very last vault of the night to break it with the whole team around him watching! Way to go, Jarod! Our next meet is the Conference meet next Tuesday, May 16th in Durand! We can't wait to see how the whole team does next week! Go Buffs!
