WIN 1 Meetings: (Remember to have attendance taken in your WIN 1 before reporting to meetings)

Wednesday, September 11th: Student council meeting in Mrs. Berger’s room.  Also plan to meet September 18th and 25th during WIN I.

Thursday, September 12th: Junior class prom meeting in Ms. White’s room.

Friday, September 13th:  Jostens will be meeting with Sophomores in the IMC after WIN 1 attendance to receive info about ordering class rings.  Seniors will be meeting with Jostens at 12:25 to be measured for caps and gowns as well as receive info about ordering graduation items.

Monday, September 16th:  All students interested in traveling to Europe this summer in June 2020, or interested in starting to plan a trip for the summer of 2022, please report to Mrs. Flaherty's room. 

General Announcements:

Important notice for students driving to school: Please be aware of your parking; make sure you are not parked in no parking areas or blocking driveways of residences (that includes partially blocking driveways).  You have the potential to be ticketed and may not receive notice to move your car.    

Picture day: Picture day is TODAY!  Pictures can be ordered now through midnight on Friday at mylifetouch.com (use picture day id EVT9JTG6G).  Picture retakes are scheduled for October 17th.

There will be an FFA open house and alumni interest meeting TODAY 5:00-7:00 pm in Room 131.  Plan on free food and drinks as well as games, contests and activities!

Speed School: Starts this week- Mondays and Thursdays from 3:40-4:20.  Open weight room will be Tuesdays and Fridays from 3:40-4:30.

Buffalo County Student Flu Shot Clinic: Thursday, October 24, 2019, 7:00-10:00 am, in the small gym.  To receive the seasonal flu vaccine, please complete the consent form and return it to Sue Poeschel, School Nurse, by October 17th.  Students will not be vaccinated without parent consent.  Consent forms can be found on the school website under Health News or in the MS/HS office.

Class Officers: Are you interested in running for a class officer position?  President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are all important roles in each grade.  If you would like to run, please email your class advisor by Thursday so that they can put you on the ballot.  Freshmen: Mrs. Robaidek, Sophomores: Mrs. Berger, Juniors: Mrs. Flaherty, Seniors: Mrs. Stadter

Show Choir: Sign up on the music department bulletin board if interested in joining.  Show choir meets Tuesdays and Thursdays during 8th hour and HS students can earn credit for the class.

Students: Please turn in your internet use forms to Mrs. Denk immediately (located online) - these need to be turned in before you can access the school network.

Yearbook Fundraiser: WOW!  Fourteen high school students have already ordered and paid for their yearbook after only one week of school.  You can order online at jostens.com or fill out the yearbook order form that was given to you during WIN 1 and mail it in with payment.  The price is $47 the yearbook and extras like your name or icons can be added for an additional cost.  If price is an issue, please plan to participate in Mrs. Fath's cookie dough fundraiser starting next Monday.  If you sell 5 tubs of cookie dough, you get half off your yearbook; 10 equals a free yearbook; and 20 items is a free yearbook plus your name and 4 icons on the cover.  What a deal and it's easy to sell cookie dough!!

Seniors: A digital image of your chosen senior photo as well as a baby or little kid pic is due to Mrs. Fath by October 31st.  If you have not already had senior pictures done, please schedule this ASAP. See Mrs. Fath if you have questions or concerns.  The yearbook staff will also take your picture for free if you do not plan to have senior pictures done.
