Buffalo Time Meetings: (Remember to have attendance taken in your homeroom before reporting to meetings)

Friday, September 9th: Student council meeting in Mrs. Hass’ room.

Tuesday, September 13th: Science Club meeting in Ms. Jardine’s room to sign up and brainstorm activities for the year.  If you love science and enjoy hanging out with others that do as well, then Science Club is the club for you! If you have previously taken or are currently enrolled in Chemistry II, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, or AP Biology then you are welcome to join.  

Wednesday, September 14th: Student council meeting in Mrs. Hass’ room.

Wednesday, September 14th: Meeting in Mrs. Everson’s room (#124 in the pool hallway) for students interested in joining Pep Club.

Thursday, September 15th: Class meetings: Juniors-Multi, Sophomores-Multi Lobby, Freshmen-IMC. 

Friday, September 16th: Student council meeting in Mrs. Hass’ room.

Friday, September 16th: All students interested in the Europe trip: please briefly stop by Mrs. Flaherty's room after checking into your Buffalo Time.  The final ITINERARY for Europe 2024 will be revealed!  This will take about five minutes, so interested Student Council members can report to their Student Council meeting directly after the reveal!  Other students will return to their Buffalo Time when the reveal is over. 

General Announcements:

CVTC Assistance: A representative from CVTC will be in the guidance area TODAY 9:00-12:30 to help and assist students with anything related to CVTC.  Please stop in if you have any questions or need help with anything.  

Musical Auditions: The last day for auditions for this year's musical production is TODAY!  If you do not want a lead role but still want to be on stage, you will have a guaranteed spot in the cast.  If you are interested in helping backstage (set design, tech, costumes/makeup, etc.), talk to Mr. Klein to see how you can help out. 

HS FUTP60: Strawberry yogurt parfaits are available for $1 at the concession stand TODAY after you check into your WIN.  Please eat the Parfaits in the Buffalo Lobby and return to your WIN class when done.  Any Junior or Senior that would like to play kickball outside during WIN please meet by the pool door after checking into WIN.  Only Juniors, Seniors and FUTP60 members that are helping are to be playing/supervising kickball.

10th and 11th graders: If you'd like to take the practice SAT (PSAT) this fall, you must sign up with Mrs. Lehman by Monday. See Mrs. Lehman with questions.

MS/HS Picture Day: Wednesday in the Buffalo Lobby.  Pictures can be ordered online at www.strawbridge.net prior to picture day using code FM390605.  Forms have been handed out to students with their Chromebooks and additional forms will be available in the office if needed. 

SAGA: The Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) is a new club starting up this year.  Our goal is to create awareness in our school and have opened sustained dialogue regarding LGBTQ issues. Our first meeting is Wednesday 3:30-4:00 pm in room 56 (by Mrs. Kluge’s room).  Talk to Mr. Klein or Mrs. Kluge for more information.

Homecoming Dance/Guest Clearance: The Homecoming dance is Saturday, October 1st, 8:00-11:00 pm.  Guests must be in high school or one year graduated and they must be cleared to attend.  Please pick up a Guest Clearance Form in the office-forms are due back by Monday, September 26th.  Please note, students and guests will need tickets to attend and info on ticket sales will be forthcoming at a later date.

HS VEX Robotics: Mondovi HS will be starting a VEX Robotics club this year!  Watch this VIDEO to see what the competition is this season.  If interested, stop by Mr. Lehman's room for an application.  Applications should be completed and returned to Mr. Lehman by 3:30 pm on Friday, September 26th.

Art Club: Anyone who is not in an art class and would like to join Art Club and go on the Art Trip to the Renaissance Festival in the Twin Cities please stop and see Mr. Pongratz for a permission form.

Buffalo Tech. Club Sign-up: Anyone interested in joining should sign-up by using this LINK.  Members will help design, market, and create graphics and woodworking products.  Last year's top earner made over $150, and we didn't start until December!  No experience is needed to join.
