MS Homeroom Meetings: (Remember to have attendance taken in your homeroom before reporting to meetings)

* Weekly on Wednesdays: FUTP60 meeting in the Large Gym.

Thursday, December 21st: 7th & 8th grade girls’ basketball team meeting in the small gym.  Schedules will be handed out at that time.

General Announcements:

HS Student Council will be selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle TODAY-Thursday during Homeroom (they will be coming around to classrooms) and MSR (in the Buffalo Lobby).  Tickets will be $1.00 for one, $3.00 for five and $10.00 for a wingspan.  MS Student Council will also be selling baked goods for $1.00 during MSR on those days (MS student council members will be coming around to the MSR rooms with the baked goods).  Money raised will be put towards presents for kids in need.  If $500.00 is raised, MS and HS staff members will participate in a dodgeball game on the last day of school before break.

FFA Clothing Drive: The FFA is holding a winter socks/gloves/mittens drive for local youth in need.  They will be collecting them TODAY at the FFA Christmas party.  Anyone can donate; socks/mittens/gloves must be new.

FFA Meeting: Middle School FFA meeting in the AG room Wednesday during MSR.  The meeting will cover representatives and Quiz Bowl.  Report after MSR attendance.

Speed School: Mondays & Thursdays, 3:25-3:55pm, in the Multi Lobby.  Speed School is an acceleration, power and top speed based training opportunity for all athletes not in a winter sport.  See Coach McGuire with any questions.

MS Hat Day: The last Student Council Hat Day is Friday!  Pay $1.00 at the Student Council table in Mrs. Berger’s room (7:45-8:00am) to receive a stamp and wear your hat to class for the day.  Students without a stamp will not be permitted to wear hats that day.  Donations will be used to build a charity fund that will be used to support people in our community.  Hats must be school appropriate and not disruptive to the learning of others (no blinking lights, etc).

Student Council Dodgeball Tournament: Friday.  Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams.  If interested in participating, see Mr. Schauer.   Each team must have 5-10 players.  A $10.00 fee is due when the form is turned in ($1.00/student).  See Mr. Schauer or a Student Council member with any questions.
