The Buffalo Nation Foundation is an Agency Endowment Fund established by the School District of Mondovi, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Dunn County. The relationship was established during the 2016-2017 school year in order to provide an ongoing annual source of income to further carry out the charitable, cultural, educational and scientific purposes of the District as well as support our mission beyond the funding means provided directly by the State of Wisconsin and the taxpaying citizens within the School District of Mondovi boundaries. By placing our endowment within the Community Foundation of Dunn County, we directly benefit from inclusion in a large portfolio with access to experienced investment managers and their administration of endowment services.

Contributions to this Fund may be made from time to time by any individual citizen, alumni, organization, or corporation and accepted by the Community Foundation of Dunn County under the terms and conditions of the Foundation’s Gift Acceptance Policy. Once the minimum amount to establish an Agency Endowment Fund is reached ($10,000), distributions to the School District of Mondovi from this Buffalo Nation Foundation Fund shall be based upon the spending policy adopted from year to year by the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Dunn County.
