It has been nearly one month since our normal routine of school was shut down. I just want to say THANK YOU to all of our teachers, and new teachers (family members), for working with our students through these challenging and difficult times. Together - we will get through this.

Message received from Missoula Children's Theatre today: "It is with heavy hearts that we are postponing the remainder of our spring tour March 23 through May 16. Keeping students and their families safe is always a top priority for the Missoula Children’s Theatre, and we want you to know this decision was not made lightly."
In this time of uncertainty, we are trying to provide you with as much information as possible. Below are a few updates. Please remember this is an ever changing situation and we will do our best to keep you informed.
Before/After School Drop off and Pick up
For the safety of our students, families, and staff, students will be dropped off and picked up at the vestibule (door #29, Elementary Office door). 4K-2nd should be checked out with a staff member.
Students Desks and Lockers
Students will be taking their supplies home with them on Tuesday, March 17. Please plan accordingly by sending extra bags to carry supplies home. This will allow for sanitizing during the extended break.
Food Service
Please complete the survey in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal regarding meals provided by the school during the COVID-19 shut down.

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences that were scheduled for March 17 & 19 have been cancelled. Elementary Teachers will contact parents of their students at some point during the emergency closure.
Parents/Guardians:
We realize that there are many unanswered questions. Please know that the information we are receiving from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and the Buffalo County Health Department continues to be fluid. We have been working diligently to come up with a plan to make things run as smoothly as possible for all of our District families. We are meeting with all staff today, and as a follow-up, Administration will meet tomorrow to make sure we’re all on the same page. A detailed plan will be distributed to District residents tomorrow.

The youth baseball clinic that was scheduled for this weekend is cancelled.
I would like to inform everyone that we will not be allowing outside visitors for today’s (3/13) Pride of the Herd Assembly. This was a difficult decision, but we felt it was in the best interest of our students and their families. Parents of the students being recognized today have been, or will be contacted by our staff. We are deeply sorry to share this news, and want you all to know that we appreciate the support that you provide for your child and our school. Today’s assemblies will be broadcast on Buffalo TV as well the School Facebook page. The PTA has also made the decision to cancel tonight’s PTA Family Bingo Night, and next week’s PTA Book Fair. The Family Bingo Night will not be rescheduled, but we are looking into alternative options for the Book Fair, and we will communicate that with you when we know.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next week (3/17 & 3/19). At this time we are still planning for conferences to run as scheduled. We will be promoting no hugs/handshakes, disinfecting between conferences, and providing an option for you to call in for your child’s conference if you would like. Please let your child’s teacher know if you plan to call instead of attend in person.
