Last night the Cross Country team competed down at C-FC. The course was mostly flat and around the school grounds. The kids ran well and finished with some personal best times! A special shout out to Landon Clark for his first place finish out of 88 boys in the MS Boys 1.5 mile race with a time of 10:16! Way to go, Landon! Next week the team travels to Bloomer on Thursday, September 12th for their only meet of the week. Good luck and Go Buffs! #mondovipride
Last night the Cross Country team traveled to Loyal for their second meet of the season! The weather was great and the kids ran well! Top finishers for the team who received a medal were Carson Hass (14th), Landon Clark (5th), Morgan Clark (14th), Jack Accola (25th), Courtney Stadter (2nd), and Caitlyn Stadter (13th). This meeting is for MS/HS students who are, or will potentially be participating in sports or any extra-curricular activity such as FBLA, Student Council, Forensics, etc. A parent or guardian needs to attend with their student. Renaissance Musicians, Curtis and Loretta, entertained the sixth graders on May 17th. This is their 18th year of entertaining Mondovi sixth graders and sharing the Renaissance unit with them.
Curtis & Loretta are an acclaimed folk singer/songwriter duo featuring extraordinary harmonies and an array of stringed instruments. They presented to Mondovi Middle School on May 17. #mondovipride
The 6th grade students are working hard to prepare for their Greece Showcase tomorrow. The students spend time researching how a city in Greece has changed from Ancient times to today. They were required to create a green screen video, edit that video and create a presentation board to share their knowledge. Come view their projects tomorrow, May 23rd in the cafeteria from 2:15-3:30. #mondovipride
6th Graders graduated from the Buffalo County DARE program on May 14. Deputy Sheyann Wieczorek did a wonderful job teaching this great program. Thank you to all of our speakers and support from the community!
