Youth Wrestling Practice on Thurs., Feb. 25th has been cancelled. We will be back in action on Monday, March 1st at 5:30.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We have scheduled our spring Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences for Tuesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 11. The conferences will be from 4:30-8:00 PM, and your child’s teacher should be contacting you soon (if they haven’t already) about scheduling a 20 minute appointment with them. We will be offering conferences over zoom once again this spring. Zoom allows for a live meeting between the parents and teacher. It also allows for parents to “call in” if they can’t do a live zoom meeting. When your child’s teacher contacts you, they will be asking the type of meeting you would prefer (live or by phone). If you choose phone, they will need to provide you with some additional information allowing you to be able to join at the scheduled meeting time. If you choose live, you will receive a link that you can click to join the meeting at your scheduled time.
If you would like to schedule a time to meet with one of your child’s specialists teachers (Art, Music, PE, IMC, and Guidance), you can email them to set up a time. They will also be conducting their conferences over zoom and will be providing both the live and phone options as well. Here are the specialists emails:
Mrs. Kees, 5K-5th grade Art, lkees@mondovi.k12.wi.us
Mrs. Kurth, 5K-5th grade Music, dkurth@mondovi.k12.wi.us
Ms. Kinne, 5K-5th grade IMC, mkinne@mondovi.k12.wi.us
Mrs Erickson, 5K-5th grade Guidance, ferickson@mondovi.k12.wi.us
Mr. Bielmeier, 5K-2nd grade PE, pbielmeier@mondovi.k12.wi.us
Mr. Seyforth, 3rd-5th grade PE, mseyforth@mondovi.k12.wi.us
If you are unable to email the specialists to set up an appointment, you can also call Leah in the elementary office starting Monday, March 1 to set up a time. Our elementary office hours are from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and the phone number is (715) 926-3645.
We look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s progress. Please reach out to your child’s teacher or call the office if you have any other questions regarding P-T conferences.
Thank you-
Mr. Franzwa

February Elementary Birthday Wishes

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Our students have already lost out on many of the special elementary memories during the pandemic, and we would like to try and offer something where everyone can participate and feel safe. Here is some information on how we are going to run things for Valentine’s Day this year.
Classroom parties should serve store bought items only.
Parties will be scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, Feb. 11.
Students can make a Valentine’s day box at home and bring it in anytime before the party. If they don’t want to create a box, they don’t have to.
Students should bring their Valentines in one week in advance of their party - Thursday, February 4th. All Valentines need to be sealed in a plastic Ziploc bag.
Your child’s teacher will be sending home more detailed information about the Valentine’s Day celebration. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Thank you-
Mr. Franzwa

The 2nd Graders watched the Inauguration on Wednesday and learned about Kamala Harris taking the role of the first female Vice President of the United States.

The 2nd Graders learned about Martin Luther King Jr. this week and how they can change the world with their two hands, make a better place with their two hands, and make a kinder place with their two hands!

Students in 6th grade or below - here is an opportunity to participate in Bucky's Junior Announcer Contest. Click on the link for more details.
