February Elementary Birthday Wishes
Dear Parents/Guardians, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Our students have already lost out on many of the special elementary memories during the pandemic, and we would like to try and offer something where everyone can participate and feel safe. Here is some information on how we are going to run things for Valentine’s Day this year. Classroom parties should serve store bought items only. Parties will be scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, Feb. 11. Students can make a Valentine’s day box at home and bring it in anytime before the party. If they don’t want to create a box, they don’t have to. Students should bring their Valentines in one week in advance of their party - Thursday, February 4th. All Valentines need to be sealed in a plastic Ziploc bag. Your child’s teacher will be sending home more detailed information about the Valentine’s Day celebration. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you- Mr. Franzwa

Good Morning Parents of Mondovi Elementary Students, I hope that you all had a safe and happy holiday season. Next Monday, January 11 students will be returning to face to face instruction. They have been virtual since early-mid November (depending on the grade), and we are really excited for them to return! If you would like to bring some of their virtual learning materials back early, we will have a return drop off this Friday, January 8 from noon until 4:00 PM. The entrances will be staffed and we are asking that you please have their items bagged up and labeled with their name, grade, and teacher. 4K and 5K families can bring items back to door 28. These are the doors at the end of their hallway that face the tennis courts. 1st and 2nd grade can return their items to door 29, the main elementary entrance located next to the office on Mill Street. 3rd-5th grade can return their items to door 31, the entrance at the end of their hallway and to the east of the main entrance on Mill Street. If you can’t make that day work to return some of their items, it is OK. We just thought that it might help to lighten the load for students when they return on the 11th. Thank you and we look forward to seeing the students again next Monday! Paul Franzwa
